Questions on several exercises… where would you put dumbbell upright row dumbbell shrugs and bent over dumbbell rear delt flys back or shoulder day thank you
Hi Randy,
I’m honestly not sure. I guess shoulders? I don’t really run body part splits so I’m not a great person to answer this question. Maybe someone else will chime in.
Dumbbell upright rows work the shoulder and upper back muscles, including the trapezius, deltoids, and rotator cuff.
Dumbbell shrugs target the trapezius muscles in the upper back and neck.
Bent over dumbbell rear delt flys specifically target the rear deltoids, which are often neglected in many shoulder workouts.
It’s common to perform these exercises with wearing equipment, either as a warm-up or as part of the main workout. You can also incorporate them into a full-body workout or a back and shoulders workout, depending on your fitness goals and routine.
As with any exercise, it’s important to perform these movements with proper form and control, and to adjust the weight and reps according to your individual needs and abilities.
