What program are you running now? How's it going?

Basically what the title says.

What program are you currently running and how do you like it so far?

Bulgarian Method by Greg Nuckols. Not quite sure, I’ve also replaced my low bar just bellow parallel Squat with High Bar (ATG) & instead of Bench Press I’m doing standing Overhead Press. It would seem as if I’m leaping in my Daily Max but really I’m just getting used to the mechanics, the strength is there because of the LBS carryover. Even so I’m tired, fatigued, burnt-out. Reached my Daily Min, but failed my Daily Max (on OHP). But tomorrow is rest day… =)

I started the Ivysaur 4-4-8, starting week 7 super new beginner and it’s starting to get heavy on me. I’ve tried the 5x5 and they had a solution of dropping your weight 10lbs if you fail. I don’t see a if you fail solution on the ivysaur. As of right now I have not hit failure on my lifts, but I imagine I will this or next week. I’m planning on stepping down a week if that happens or reattempting the same week again. Any suggestions, or does this sound like a good idea?
